GROUNDNUT OIL - CHEKKU / GHANI

The best oils are cold pressed. The oil is obtained through pressing and grinding fruit or seeds. The raw material (sesame / peanut / coconut / sunflower seeds) is typically ground into a paste, and this is pressed with a heavy wooden mill until it expels the oil. This first-pressed oil, is sold unrefined, and without any additives.
Although pressing and grinding produces heat through friction, the temperature is very well controlled and Cold pressed oils are produced at even lower temperatures.
